Job description

We are partnering with an industry-leading organization in Houston to hire a Cyber Network Analyst. What You’ll Do

As the Cyber Network Analyst, you’ll play a key role in protecting the organization’s technology infrastructure by:

  • Monitoring, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity alerts across cloud, identity, endpoint, email, and network environments
  • Leading incident response activities, including investigation, containment, remediation, and reporting
  • Collaborating with internal IT teams and external Security Operations Center (SOC) partners
  • Administering Microsoft 365 and Azure/Entra ID security environments
  • Managing Conditional Access policies and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Monitoring identity threats such as risky sign-ins, impossible travel, and privilege escalation
  • Supporting endpoint protection through CrowdStrike and other EDR technologies
  • Managing email security platforms such as Proofpoint
  • Implementing and maintaining Microsoft 365 Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies
  • Supporting phishing awareness initiatives and employee security education
  • Assisting with Meraki network security, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure
  • Conducting vulnerability management and security risk assessments
  • Maintaining security documentation, standards, and response playbooks
  • Providing guidance around AI security, Microsoft Copilot, and emerging technologies

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of cybersecurity, security operations, or security administration experience
  • Hands-on experience securing Microsoft 365 environments
  • Experience with Azure/Entra ID, Conditional Access, and MFA
  • Proven experience participating in or leading security incident response
  • Experience working with a Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • Experience implementing or supporting Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
