Job description

Technical Lead Planisware works under the guidance of Practice Lead Planisware Lead the implementation and enhancement of Planisware solutions for global Pharma and Life Sciences organizations, ensuring alignment with R&D, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Commercial portfolio management processes. Prior experience working with Pharma/Life Sciences clients is mandatory.

Responsibilities :

  • Work closely with Pharma business stakeholders across R&D, Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and PMO teams to implement Planisware solutions aligned with business processes.
  • Independently manage assigned projects, ensuring their successful completion within budget, timeline, and quality parameters.
  • Develop project plans, allocate resources, and set project milestones and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement necessary mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Lead -Planisware to ensure alignment with overall project objectives and client expectations.
  • Lead and manage projects involving the implementation and upgrades of Planisware, ensuring successful delivery within budget, timeline, and quality standards.
  • Provide technical expertise in Planisware, including OPX2 scripting, query and dashboard creation/modification, and workflow management.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Unix, SQL, Java scripting, and HTML to support Planisware customization and integration requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and requirements, proposing solutions and driving the implementation of Planisware functionalities.
  • Work on the integration of PPM systems with analytics platforms like Spotfire and Power BI, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Engage in release planning ceremonies, analyzing business and technical requirements, and proposing suitable solutions.
  • Lead improvement sessions within the team, organizing knowledge-sharing discussions, and providing technical guidance when needed.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with globally distributed clients and stakeholders, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Planisware and project management.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline is required (a master’s degree is desirable)., * A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline is required (a master’s degree is desirable).

  • Overall experience of 6+ years in Planisware
  • Experience implementing, support and maintaining Planisware project and portfolio management software solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in OPX2 scripting, query and dashboard creation/modification, and Planisware workflows.
  • Excellent knowledge of project and portfolio management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, as well as the ability to successfully encourage and guide a team.
  • Proven ability to work with globally distributed clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience collecting business requirements and converting them into software solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with other project management tools and software solutions is a plus.
  • Mandatory experience working with Pharma or Life Sciences organizations.
  • Experience supporting Pharmaceutical R&D, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Drug Development, or PMO organizations using Planisware.
  • Strong understanding of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) processes within the Pharma industry, including portfolio prioritization, resource capacity planning, financial forecasting, and governance.
  • Experience working in regulated environments with knowledge of GxP, validation practices, and SDLC is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to Planisware Enterprise/Planisware Orchestra implementations within Pharma organizations will be an added advantage.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders across US, Europe, and APAC Pharma organizations.
