Network Engineer (AWS Cloud)

Elite Technical is seeking a Network Engineer with AWS Cloud Network Infrastructure experience. The selected candidate will support multiple networking initiatives and ensure all network devices align with NIST 800 53 requirements. This role requires strong functional expertise in both traditional and cloud-based networking technologies, as well as solid proficiency in Terraform infrastructure-as-code (IaC). The selected candidate will act as the primary owner for managing network outages, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing long term solutions. This position is responsible for securing and maintaining corporate WAN/LAN network infrastructure, AWS cloud networking components, and associated systems.

Minimum of 7 years of experience working in 24x7 environments supporting Networking network access control products to ensure authorized host accessing the network meet the company-s security policy and unauthorized hosts are quarantined.

• Configuration and management of multiple firewalls including application layer controls to protect mission critical applications (Palo Alto is preferred, not required)
• Strong Cisco R&S, VPN, FTP and other connection methods
• Must have Hands-on experience configuring AWS networking infrastructure, with a strong focus on Gateway Load Balancers (GWLB), network endpoints, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC); experience supporting cloud migrations is highly preferred.
• Ability to manage load balancer and WAF tools to ensure we maintain secure websites and redundancy.
• Ability to lead project initiatives, support regulatory compliance programs, and present to senior management.
• Provide remote access solution support (RSA, Global Protect- preferred).
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Load Balancers, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, TACACS+, BGP, and AWS cloud technologies
• Knowledge of hardening network equipment to corporate security standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously; with great attention to detail, operates with urgency, focus and discipline.

Preferred:

• Network certification (Ex. PCNSA, PCNSE, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE), preferred
• Bachelors degree or military experience in a technology field, preferred.

This position is a full-time/permanent opportunity with our client. This position is a hybrid opportunity (onsite 2-3 days per week in Portsmouth NH). This position requires on-call support (1 week every month)
