Job description

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to support the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications within an Agile environment. This role will be responsible for building secure backend services, modern user interfaces, database solutions, and supporting the full software development lifecycle from requirements through production deployment., Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, React, and PostgreSQL. Build secure and scalable RESTful APIs to support data access and system integrations. Design and implement modern user interfaces using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and reusable component patterns. Create and maintain normalized PostgreSQL database schemas and optimize queries for performance and scalability. Support data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and consistency between legacy and modernized systems. Participate in application deployment activities, version control processes, and CI/CD pipeline implementation. Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and operations & maintenance. Ensure compliance with security requirements, accessibility standards (Section 508), and enterprise development practices. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

Requirements

Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance Required Experience: 8+ Years Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of software development experience. Strong experience developing user interfaces with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and modern front-end design practices. Strong experience developing applications using: Java Spring Framework Spring Security 6+ Spring Boot 3+ Hibernate 6+ SQL / PL-SQL PostgreSQL RESTful APIs Maven Git / GitLab Experience with database design, schema development, and data migration initiatives. Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. Experience using Jira and Confluence. Experience supporting Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, documentation, and time management abilities. Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and ability to contribute to team growth.

Experience with AWS services including: EC2 ECS S3 Aurora CloudWatch Experience with: Keycloak Kubernetes Docker Automated deployment and containerized environments
