Job description

The Data & Development Coordinator supports the Senior Data Manager by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and effective use of organizational data across PBMR’s fundraising and program systems. Through the stewardship of donor and program data, this position helps strengthen PBMR’s fundraising, grant compliance, program evaluation, and organizational decision-making while supporting the Mission Advancement team’s commitment to data-informed practice., * Assist in developing and maintaining data standards, documentation, and procedures that promote consistency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across organizational data systems.

  • Enter, process, and reconcile all gifts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage and maintain donor records in Donor Wrangler, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform regular data quality checks and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support the Mission Advancement team with grant reporting.
  • Support routine reporting needs for development and program teams.
  • Assist with database maintenance, including imports, updates, and deduplication.
  • Generate monthly reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Support donor acknowledgment processes and documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive donor and organizational data.
  • Support donor communication efforts by responding to inquiries, clarifying gift information, and ensuring a positive and accurate giving experience.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, data management, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in data entry, database management, or administrative support.
  • Experience working in nonprofit fundraising or donor databases preferred.
  • Experience with Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) systems (Donor Wrangler, Raiser’s Edge, and Smartsheets strongly preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required., * Effectively expresses oneself in all oral and written communications.
  • Exhibits good listening and comprehension skills.
  • Keeps others informed, as well as responds, in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrates match between words and actions.
  • Responds with tact, diplomacy, respect and composure when dealing with others.

  • Proficient knowledge of CRM/database systems (Donor Wrangler or Raiser’s Edge preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
