Job description

Mariner is seeking a Senior Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Developer and Solution Architect to serve as the technical authority for our Financial Services Cloud (FSC) platform. This position blends hands-on development with architectural leadership - you will drive the creation of scalable solutions, mentor junior team members, and ensure our Salesforce implementation fulfills the complex data modeling, compliance, and performance needs of a large-scale advisor operating ecosystem., * Serve as the FSC solution architect, owning the technical design of new capabilities including data model decisions, integration points, and UX patterns

  • Lead development of advanced Salesforce features using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools (Flow, OmniStudio)
  • Design and maintain the FSC data model including Households, Financial Accounts, Relationships, Goals, and custom extensions
  • Define and enforce development standards, code review practices, and deployment processes across the Salesforce team
  • Collaborate with Agentforce and MuleSoft Developers to design cohesive, cross-platform architectures
  • Lead technical discovery sessions with business stakeholders and translate requirements into well-scoped platform solutions
  • Oversee org health by driving technical debt reduction, governor limit management, and performance optimization
  • Support Salesforce release management activities, including sandbox strategy, change set/metadata API deployments, and governance of releases
  • Evaluate and guide the platform’s adoption of new Salesforce features, such as those on the Agentforce and Einstein roadmaps

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Salesforce development experience, with at least 2 years focused specifically on Financial Services Cloud
  • Deep expertise in the FSC data model: Households, Financial Account Roles, Referrals, Action Plans, and the Person Account model
  • Advanced Apex development skills, including asynchronous processing, trigger frameworks, and best practices for test coverage
  • Proficiency with Lightning Web Components and Experience Cloud
  • Demonstrated experience in multi-developer orgs with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset)
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model, including field-level security, sharing rules, and compliance considerations, * Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect
  • Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional
  • Experience with OmniStudio (formerly Vlocity) within an FSC context
  • Background with advisor technology ecosystems, including financial planning tools (eMoney, MoneyGuidePro) and portfolio management platforms
  • Experience with Agentforce or Einstein development, or a strong desire to expand skills in these areas
  • Experience mentoring and leading a team of Salesforce developers
