Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Web Portal QE Tester to support the end-to-end validation of enterprise web-based healthcare applications. This role focuses on UI workflows, API integrations, and backend data processing. Prior experience in the healthcare domain is an absolute requirement., UI/UX Testing: Execute comprehensive cross-browser and cross-device validation for web portal UIs, user journeys, forms, and navigation. End-to-End Validation: Test core integrations connecting the web portal front-end to REST APIs and backend databases. Defect Triage: Analyze system logs and use browser developer tools to isolate, troubleshoot, and document bugs in Jira. Data Verification: Perform robust data validation across UI and downstream systems using SQL queries. Agile Execution: Participate in regression testing, UAT support, and production validation within an Agile/Scrum framework.

Requirements

Experience: 4+ years of web application QA/QE testing experience. Domain Expertise: Proven knowledge of healthcare workflows: Claims processing, Member portals (Eligibility/Enrollment/Benefits), Authorizations, and Appeals & Grievances. API & Database Testing: Hands-on experience with Postman (REST APIs) and SQL script execution. Automation Exposure: Familiarity with Python scripting and UI automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, or similar). Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setup. Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have) Experience with TOSCA Test Suite. Familiarity with accessibility compliance (WCAG standards). Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

$25.00 - $45.48 an hour - Contract
