Job description

  • Collect, clean, and validate large data sets from various sources
  • Analyze data using statistical techniques and data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
  • Interpret and present data findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and develop data collection methodologies
  • Develop and maintain data models, databases, and dashboards for efficient data analysis and reporting
  • Identify data quality issues and implement measures to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and provide insights to support business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and reporting
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies and initiatives
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, or R
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and methodologies
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot data inconsistencies or anomalies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
