Job description
Develop steering functions and system architectures for Steer-by-Wire and Rear-Wheel Steering systems Define functional and safety concepts Create, maintain and manage system models and requirements Integrate sensors, actuators and electronic control units (ECUs) into the vehicle architecture Take responsibility for system design, performance and safety concepts Plan and execute simulation, verification, validation, and testing activities, including SiL, HiL and vehicle testing Coordinate and manage development activities and work packages
Requirements
Completed training (University, University of Applied Sciences or comparable) in automotive engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a related field At least 3 years of experience in the development of steering systems or comparable vehicle dynamics systems Experience in technical leadership, coordination, or development management, or a strong interest in taking on such responsibilities Knowledge of Steer-by-Wire, Rear-Wheel Steering (RWS), or active steering systems is considered an advantage Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, control systems, and functional safety (ISO 26262) Experience with modeling tools and Systems Engineering methodologies Strong analytical and structured approach to solving complex system-level challenges, combined with a high sense of ownership Excellent communication and teamwork skills in an international environment Very good knowledge of English, knowledge of German is an advantage

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €60,970.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
