Job description

At QuotCraft BV, we are transforming how businesses handle pricing, proposals, and quoting workflows. We build robust, intelligent software that takes the friction out of complex business logic. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of our core Python backend, drive architectural decisions, and help scale our platform., * Architect & Build: Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask).

  • Solve Complex Problems: Optimize the engines that power dynamic pricing algorithms, product configurations, and document generation.
  • Integrate Systems: Build reliable, secure integrations with third-party tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, ERPs, and payment gateways.
  • Lead Technically: Take ownership of significant parts of the codebase. Make critical decisions on database design, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Elevate the Team: Write clean, testable code (TDD), conduct thorough code reviews, and mentor mid-level and junior developers.
  • Optimize Operations: Work with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployments and high system availability.

Requirements

Core Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in backend development.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python and modern web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
  • Strong database skills, specifically with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, including complex query optimization.
  • Proven experience designing, building, and scaling RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and modern version control (Git).
  • Fluent in English with strong technical communication skills.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Have):

  • Experience working in B2B SaaS, CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) software, or fintech.
  • Familiarity with asynchronous programming (Celery, Redis) and background task processing.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD automation.
