Job description

Your challenge as System Support Engineer (m/f/d):

  • You will be responsible for the support, monitoring and further development of our existing Linux, Kubernetes and container environments
  • You will work closely with the development teams to develop efficient ways to deploy and operate our software solutions
  • You will improve the existing solutions in the areas of security, monitoring and backups, among others
  • You will work on projects with the infrastructure teamIn 2nd level support, you are the first point of contact for error analyses, troubleshooting and processing service requests

Requirements

  • You have a degree (computer science, business informatics) or a comparable degree programme or training in the field of IT or equivalent qualifications acquired through professional experience and further training measures
  • You have already gained 3 years of professional experience of professional IT experience with focus on:
  • Container services administration: Kubernetes, GitOps and cloud-native technologies (Rancher, RKE2, ArgoCD, Prometheus)
  • Linux systems administration: (preferably RedHat, Katello, Foreman, Puppet, Ansible)
  • You are a team player, communicative and have a proactive way of workingYour have excellent written and spoken English skills. German language skills at B1-level or better round off your profile
