Job description

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Workday integrations using technologies such as APIs, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, RaaS, Studio, and Orchestrate.
  • Manage and support data flows between Workday and downstream systems including Payroll, Finance, Identity & Access Management, and enterprise data platforms.
  • Oversee integration platform operations and API management, including SOAP/REST services, authentication methods, vendor updates, and technical performance monitoring.
  • Deploy and maintain integrations with external applications and data warehouses, ensuring secure data transmission through encryption, PGP, secret management, private endpoints, and network controls.
  • Act as a Workday technical SME, translating business requirements and user stories into scalable technical solutions and system designs.
  • Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting integration and configuration issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes.
  • Lead integration-related release activities, including impact analysis, regression testing, mandatory update reviews, and break/fix support.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits, validations, and proactive system maintenance across integrated platforms.
  • Stay up to date with Workday releases, emerging technologies, and industry best practices, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support training, documentation, and change management activities related to Workday enhancements while mentoring and sharing knowledge with HRIS team members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with Workday Core HCM and related modules.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, system integrations, and end-to-end data flows.
  • Expertise in Workday Reporting, including Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports, as well as calculated fields and EIBs.
  • Hands-on experience developing and supporting Workday integrations using tools such as Studio, Core Connectors, and related technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A strong focus on data integrity, confidentiality, governance, and continuous improvement.
