Apple Systems Administrator

The Senior Apple/Mobility Systems Administrator serves as the lead specialist for macOS and mobile platforms, focusing on supporting Apple devices, endpoint security, and device management within a complex enterprise environment. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, cloud identity integration, automation, and mentoring junior staff to ensure robust and secure mobility solutions. Responsibilities:

• Administer macOS and iOS devices across the enterprise.
• Manage JAMF and Intune device management platforms.
• Integrate and support cloud identity solutions including Entra ID and AWS identity services.
• Automate endpoint management processes and device enrollment/configuration.
• Administer FileVault encryption and software packaging/deployment.
• Support vulnerability remediation efforts and perform advanced troubleshooting with root cause analysis.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain knowledge base documentation.
• Mentor and provide guidance to Tier I support staff., * Work involves supporting secure federal environments requiring strict adherence to security policies.
• May require handling sensitive data and compliance with federal regulations.

Scheduling:

• Standard enterprise work schedule with potential on-call duties for advanced troubleshooting and incident response.

• 5+ years of experience in Apple enterprise support.
• 3+ years of JAMF administration experience.
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience supporting secure federal customers.
• Apple Certified IT Professional certification.
• JAMF Certified Associate certification.

• Security+ certification.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
