Job description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based backend applications and microservices.
Build and support cloud-native applications using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Quarkus, and modern Java frameworks.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, gRPC, GraphQL, and event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications on Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, GKE, or AKS.
Design and implement scalable solutions on AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.
Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and resiliency in distributed environments.
Design and optimize database solutions using Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and Redis.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Maven, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
Implement security best practices including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, RBAC, Keycloak, HashiCorp Vault, and secure API development.
Monitor application health using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and ELK Stack.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and driving engineering best practices.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, distributed systems, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). This role requires strong technical leadership, architecture experience, and the ability to build secure, high-performance backend systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment., * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

10+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java (Java 8-21).
Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices, and distributed system design.
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, REST APIs, gRPC, and event-driven architectures.
Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration platforms.
Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and Redis.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and build tools such as Maven.
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, performance tuning, and scalability.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and version control systems such as Git., * Experience with Quarkus, Akka, Scala, or Python.
Knowledge of Terraform, Helm, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
Experience with OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, and observability platforms.
Familiarity with Vertex AI, cloud-native AI services, or modern data platforms.
Excellent communication, leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
