Functional Lead - SAP SD LE

We are partnering with a leading automation machinery manufacturing company seeking an experienced SAP SD Functional Lead with Logistics specialization to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative. This role is ideal for a senior SAP professional with strong expertise in Sales & Distribution (SD), Logistics Execution (LE), Warehouse Management, and Transportation, particularly within a discrete manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in shaping the ERP roadmap, driving process standardization, and delivering scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions integrated with third-party systems. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) 8+ years of SAP experience in SD, Logistics Execution, Inventory, and Warehouse Management At least one full end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation in a discrete manufacturing environment Strong expertise in SAP SD order management, shipping, intercompany flows, and transportation processes Hands-on experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Experience integrating SAP with third-party systems (e.g., Manhattan WMS) Familiarity with integration tools such as SAP PI/PO, CPI, MuleSoft Knowledge of Variant Configuration (VC) is a plus Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (SAFe experience preferred) U.S. work authorization required (no current or future sponsorship available) Preferred Experience Experience supporting MTS, MTO, CTO, or ETO manufacturing models Background in automation machinery, capital equipment, or complex manufacturing environments Leadership experience in enterprise ERP transformation programs
