Job description

As a System Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of electronic systems and hardware components in automotive applications through comprehensive verification and validation processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test strategies that identify defects and validate that automotive systems meet all specified requirements and industry standards.

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Performing manual and automated testing of automotive electronic systems and hardware components to ensure they meet functional, performance, and safety requirements
  • Developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test procedures for verification and validation activities of automotive electronics and control units
  • Setting up test environments and equipment for hardware testing of automotive components, including configuring measurement instruments and test fixtures
  • Executing tests, analyzing results, documenting defects, and working with development teams to resolve issues in automotive electronic systems
  • Participating in design reviews to provide testing perspective and identify potential quality issues early in the automotive development cycle

Requirements

  • Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
  • At least 1 year of experience in system testing, verification and validation, or quality assurance for electronic systems, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Hands-on experience with hardware testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and logic analyzers
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and practices for automotive electronic systems and hardware components
  • Experience with both manual testing procedures and automated test frameworks for automotive applications
  • Basic understanding of automotive electronics principles, vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay), and hardware design concepts
  • Fluent in English
