Security Automation Engineer

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify architectural gaps, technical debt, and opportunities for platform improvements.
• Design and maintain the target software architecture and technology roadmap.
• Lead the implementation of architectural improvements and ensure alignment with business and technical objectives.
• Propose and implement software engineering best practices, testing frameworks, and quality assurance approaches.
• Drive innovation initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and feature delivery, including the adoption of Machine Learning capabilities where appropriate.
• Coach and mentor engineers through knowledge-sharing sessions, pair programming, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
• Actively contribute to software development and hands-on coding activities.
• Promote a security-first mindset throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, observable, and aligned with cloud-native design principles.

An experienced Senior Software Engineer / Software Architect who is passionate about building scalable automation platforms, driving architectural excellence, and delivering innovative solutions in a cloud-native environment. You will play a key role in shaping the future architecture of a mission-critical automation platform while remaining hands-on in development and technical leadership., * Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Engineering roles.

• Proven experience translating business and technical requirements into scalable software designs.
• Strong expertise in software engineering design patterns, including asynchronous processing, event-driven architectures, messaging systems, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with serverless technologies (e.g., Azure Function Apps) and container orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and deploying CI/CD pipelines within Azure environments.
• Strong understanding of software quality practices including TDD, BDD, security testing, performance testing, A/B testing, and system validation.
• Excellent development skills in Python, JavaScript, and Node.js.
• Practical experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, Azure Service Bus, and Event Hub.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases including Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and other distributed data stores.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling such as OpenTelemetry, Application Insights, Prometheus, and Grafana., * Strong architectural and analytical thinking skills.
