Job description

We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Integration Engineer to develop and optimize integrations across SaaS platforms and data services. This role will focus heavily on AWS Serverless technologies and API-driven integrations, working closely with AWS Integration Architects, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS services, API development, and building scalable, serverless integrations., 1. Integration Development & API Engineering

  • Design and implement serverless integration solutions using AWS services such as AWS AppFlow, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations for seamless data exchange across enterprise applications.
  • Leverage AWS SDKs, APIs, and connectors to integrate with third-party SaaS platforms.
  1. Solution Design & Implementation * Work with AWS Integration Architects to define integration patterns, data flows, and security best practices. * Implement event-driven architectures using AWS services to enable real-time data synchronization. * Optimize integration solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency using AWS best practices.

  2. Testing, Debugging & Optimization * Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure reliability and performance. * Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions. * Monitor and log API transactions using AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and other observability tools.

  3. Documentation & Collaboration * Document integration designs, API specifications, and implementation details. * Work collaboratively with development teams, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders. * Share best practices and provide technical guidance to junior engineers when needed., Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications and geographic location. Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud development and integration engineering.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js for developing AWS Lambda functions and APIs.
  • Strong expertise in AWS serverless services: Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, EventBridge.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth, JWT, and API security best practices.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on optimizing integration performance.

Preferred Skills:

  • AWS Certified (Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience integrating with enterprise SaaS applications (Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, etc.).
  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging patterns.
  • Strong understanding of data transformation, ETL pipelines, and AWS Glue.
  • Experience with remote and distributed development teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
