Job description

  • Development and implementation of 3D registration algorithms (e.g., ICP, feature matching, global registration) for point clouds and multisensor data
  • Develop deformable imaging technology to support various 3D image types (CT, Cone Beam, MR, etc.)
  • Development and coordination of appropriate SW architectural proposals
  • Experience with Monte-Carlo simulation algorithms for dose calculation is desirable
  • Implementation of high-performance algorithms in modern C++
  • Integration of the developed components into a scalable backend software architecture
  • Provision of interfaces (APIs, services) for using the algorithms in the front endAnalysis and improvement of the algorithms’ runtime, robustness, and accuracy

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or PHD in computer science, robotics, mathematics, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in 3D computer vision / geometric vision, linear algebra
  • Experience with modern C++ (C++17 or newer)
  • Experience with GPU programming (preferably with CUDA)
  • Proficiency with OpenCV or similar libraries
  • Excellent written and spoken English & optional German skills
  • Analytical thinking and quick comprehension
  • Strong sense of quality and responsibility
  • Independent, structured, and results-oriented work style
  • Strong communication skills and excellent ability to work in a team
  • Confident and professional demeanor
