Job description
The Senior Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for leading Cyber Security initiatives to build, enhance and sustain a World-Class secure organization., * Oversight and accountability of day-to-day security operations of cybersecurity tasks
- Proficiency in common tools and technologies used in cybersecurity operations such as DLP, EDR, XDR, SOAR, & SIEM technologies
- Ensure timely accurate tailored remediation and counter measure of intrusions and compromised host and network infrastructure, applications, and operations systems
- Oversee latest security, vulnerability, and technology developments
- Lead security policy & documentation - NIST cyber security framework & compliance
- Understanding of malware analysis & email security incidents
- Incident response & reporting management
- Monitor reports & dashboards
- Participate in regular audits including procuring artifacts
- Assist in the evaluation of new products and services as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field or satisfactory combination of formal education and relevant work experience, required
- 5 - 10 years of relevant cyber security experience
- Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
- Experience with NIST, CIS Controls, & SOC2
- Current information security certifications (CISSP, CSSLP, CCFP, CISM)
- Knowledge of operating systems, 0365, & network protocols
- Familiarity with cloud security (Azure), Artificial Intelligence, & DevSecOps practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to translate technical terms to customers
