Job description

We are looking for an experienced Databricks Architect with strong expertise in MuleSoft, dbt, and modern cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of scalable Lakehouse architectures, enterprise data integration, and ELT frameworks while driving cloud data modernization initiatives., Design enterprise-scale Databricks Lakehouse solutions and cloud-native data platforms.

Build scalable ELT pipelines using dbt, Databricks, and Snowflake.

Design and implement enterprise integrations using MuleSoft APIs and Anypoint Platform.

Develop reusable data frameworks, data models, and transformation pipelines.

Lead cloud migration and enterprise data modernization initiatives.

Implement data governance, security, and performance optimization best practices. Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to deliver enterprise data solutions.

Mentor engineering teams and establish architecture standards and best practices.

Requirements

Required Skills: 10+ years of Data Engineering/Data Architecture experience. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, PySpark, Spark SQL). Strong experience designing Lakehouse Architecture and Medallion (Bronze, Silver, Gold) framework.

Hands-on experience with MuleSoft (API-led Connectivity, API Design, Integration, Anypoint Platform).

Strong expertise in dbt (Data Build Tool) for data modeling, ELT development, testing, documentation, and reusable SQL transformations.

Experience with Snowflake and enterprise Data Warehousing.

Strong SQL, Python, PySpark, and Spark optimization.

Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and real-time data processing.

Knowledge of Delta Live Tables (DLT), Unity Catalog, and Databricks Workflows. Experience with Kafka/Event Streaming is preferred.

Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Experience with CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Terraform.

Knowledge of Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, and MDM. Excellent stakeholder communication and architecture leadership skills.Key, Financial Services, Healthcare, or Retail domain experience.

Experience with Master Data Management (MDM).

Exposure to AI/ML data platforms and modern analytics.

Databricks, MuleSoft, or Cloud certifications are a plus.
