Job description

  • Design, implement, and support LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, controllers, access points, and global internet circuits.
  • Implement network segmentation initiatives for IT and regional environments (Americas, EMEA, APAC).
  • Enforce Zero Trust controls and architect and deliver secure, VPN-less access solutions.
  • Deploy and manage global SD-WAN services to optimize performance and cost.
  • Maintain firewalls, IP address management, and fault-tolerant network operations.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot complex network issues, providing L3-level support and guiding peers.
  • Support data security, disaster recovery, and change control processes.
  • Create and maintain documentation, diagrams, and testing plans.
  • Rotate on-call responsibilities and coordinate vendor support as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts (Lean, 5S, Kaizen, etc.).

Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to help design, implement, and support a complex global network environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on engineering position, excels at solving challenging technical problems, and enjoys driving network architectural improvements across a global manufacturing environment. This role is a Senior Network Engineer who also has experience with network security with firewalls and Zero Trust. This is also a global facing role working across the organization., * Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • Expert-level networking certifications required (e.g., CCNA, CCIE, JNCIE).
  • 8+ years in network design, architecture, and L3 support across WAN/LAN/WLAN.
  • 3+ years with SDN/SD-WAN and Cloud (Azure preferred).
  • 3+ years with Fortinet products; experience with Meraki or similar solutions.
  • 2+ years with Palo Alto SASE.
  • Deep multi-vendor switching/routing experience (Cisco, Juniper).
  • Strong understanding of TCP//P, IPv4/IPv6, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VPNs.
  • Network security experience with Firewalls, Zero Trust. etc.
  • Experience troubleshooting wireless networks; Aruba knowledge a plus.
  • Proficiency with monitoring/diagnostic tools (PRTG, RANCID).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to diagnose complex issues across layers 4-7.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • A hands-on, “roll up your sleeves” mindset in a resource-constrained environment.
