FSQA Technician

Job Description: This position is to ensure that all quality standards and product and packaging specifications for boxed primal, offal and trim combos’ products are met. Point person for all scales and manage the information capture at the scales., * Pulling lab samples for out-of -house residue testing

• Researching and maintaining chain of custody documentation
• Assisting in revising or creating written SOP’s, ect
• Assisting with monthly food safety self-audits and mock recall exercises
• Assisting in implementing and maintaining plant SQF Certification

• Must have the ability to read, write and understand English. Spanish Language skills a plus
• Computer skills Microsoft Word, Outlook. & Excel
• Age 18 & authorized to work in the US, * Prior experience with Quality Assurance, beef product specifications especially export items
• Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills a must.
• Experience in HACCP and labeling also helpful.
• Must have the ability to read, write and understand English. Spanish Language skills a plus
• Computer skills Microsoft Word, Outlook. & Excel
• Age 18 & authorized to work in the US
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests to be eligible for employment.

Physical Demands:

Ability to sit, stand or walk up to 8-10 hrs. a day

Lift 50 lbs. frequently
