Job description

The Data Solutions Developer is a critical member of the Technology team, responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing the data platforms, integrations, and business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across Regis. This position combines expertise in database development, data integration, and analytics to deliver scalable, reliable, and actionable insights that support operational excellence and strategic business objectives. The role partners closely with business and technology stakeholders to transform complex data into meaningful information that drives performance, efficiency, and growth., * Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, including stored procedures, views, and functions to support enterprise reporting and analytics.

  • Build, maintain, and enhance ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Develop semantic data models, dashboards, and analytical reporting solutions using Power BI and/or Domo to deliver actionable business insights.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs), establish standardized metrics, and ensure data consistency across reporting solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data integration, reporting, and performance issues in a timely manner.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI-enabled analytics and automation tools, including Microsoft Copilot and emerging business intelligence technologies, to improve efficiency and decision support.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, data lineage maps, and solution designs to support governance, scalability, and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to continuously improve enterprise data architecture and reporting capabilities.

Requirements

  • Four (4) or more years of experience in database development, data integration, business intelligence, or related data-focused roles.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, including complex query development, performance optimization, indexing strategies, and stored procedure development.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or comparable integration tools.
  • Experience designing and deploying business intelligence solutions using Power BI, Domo, or similar reporting platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling methodologies, and slowly changing dimension techniques.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and master data management best practices.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered analytics tools and a demonstrated interest in applying emerging technologies to improve business outcomes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
