Job description

The IT Support Specialist II is responsible for providing frontline technical support to end users and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role supports desktops, printers, warehouse scanning equipment, and ERP-related systems including Trulinx. The position ensures reliable system performance, assists with hardware and software deployments, and leverages Microsoft Intune and Azure for device and user management., * Provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across the organization

  • Installs, configures, and maintains desktops, laptops, printers, and warehouse scanning devices
  • Performs setup, imaging, provisioning, and deployment of new employee hardware using Microsoft Intune and Azure Active Directory
  • Maintains and supports Trulinx ERP system updates, user access, and basic troubleshooting
  • Responds to service desk tickets in a timely manner, ensuring proper documentation and resolution
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and standard business applications
  • Supports warehouse technology including barcode scanners, label printers, and mobile devices
  • Manages user accounts, permissions, and device policies within Azure Active Directory and Intune
  • Assists with patch management, system updates, and endpoint security compliance
  • Coordinates with vendors and internal teams to resolve escalated technical issues
  • Maintains inventory of IT assets including hardware lifecycle tracking
  • Documents processes, procedures, and technical solutions for internal knowledge base
  • Provides end-user training and guidance on systems and best practices
  • Participates in IT projects including system upgrades, rollouts, and infrastructure improvements
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and Intune
  • Experience supporting ERP systems, preferably Trulinx or similar manufacturing/distribution platforms
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network environments
  • Familiarity with warehouse technologies including RF scanners and labeling systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service orientation with clear communication skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and documentation
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to changing technology needs

  • 2-5 years of experience in IT support or service desk environment

  • Hands-on experience with desktop support, printers, and mobile/warehouse devices
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management practices

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to safely navigate office and warehouse environments
  • Ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 20 lbs as needed
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working on a computer

Benefits & conditions

$67,000-$72,000, depending upon experience.
