Job description
The IT Data Specialist will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and business intelligence across the organization. The ideal candidate is a technology professional with strong programming skills, experience integrating systems through APIs, and a passion for leveraging AI and automation to streamline business processes and support data-driven decision-making., * Develop, maintain, and optimize automation scripts to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
- Build automation solutions using Python, Java, APIs, SQL, and Selenium.
- Integrate data from multiple databases into dashboards, reporting systems, and business intelligence platforms.
- Leverage AI technologies and intelligent automation tools to optimize workflows and enhance productivity.
- Automate dashboard refreshes, data pipelines, and recurring business processes using multiple data sources.
- Test, troubleshoot, and maintain automation solutions to ensure reliability, accuracy, and performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable technology solutions.
- Document technical solutions and maintain software development best practices.
- Support reporting initiatives by ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, automation, data integration, or a related technical role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
- Experience with SQL databases; MySQL experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI technologies, AI-assisted development tools, and intelligent automation platforms.
- Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools is a plus.
- Experience with Selenium or other automation frameworks is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
