Software Engineer II - AWS (Remote)

The successful candidate will have experience building applications using AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, IAM, and KMS, along with modern development frameworks including Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js. Experience with Terraform, Docker, OpenShift, and event-driven architectures is highly desirable.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of critical payment and financial solutions while growing technical expertise in cloud-native application development and enterprise-scale systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud technologies, software development, and system integrations, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and reliable solutions. This role requires active participation in technical design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and production support while collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders., Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance

• 2+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering and architecture experience.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting cloud-native applications on AWS.

Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and OpenShift.

Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.

Ability to build highly available, fault-tolerant, secure, and scalable enterprise solutions.

Proven experience leading development teams and driving technical architecture decisions.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills., * AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate)

• AWS Certified Developer Associate
• Experience with payment processing, ACH, wire transfers, real-time payments, card processing, or other money movement platforms.
• Experience with financial systems integrations and regulatory reporting solutions.
• Experience with Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and enterprise observability platforms.
• Experience leading cloud modernization and application transformation initiatives.
• Experience in regulated financial services environments.
