Systems Engineer- OpenText

We are looking for a System Engineer to join our People Platform team supporting OpenText xECM for SAP SuccessFactors. You will play a key role in configuring, developing, integrating, and supporting our enterprise document management platform, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions across the employee lifecycle., * Strong technical expertise in OpenText xECM for SAP SuccessFactors and OpenText Content Server.

• Experience configuring Business Workspaces, metadata, document types, workflows, and security.
• Strong development experience with WebReports, LiveReports, Workflows, and Content Server customizations.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise integrations using REST APIs and cloud platforms.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors integrations and HR document management.
• Knowledge of PowerDocs, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, Google Cloud Platform, DevOps, CI/CD, and enterprise monitoring tools will be considered an advantage.

A day in your life with us

You’ll be a vital part in the transformation of IKEA into a more front line obsessed company by ensuring that configuring, developing, integrating, and supporting the OpenText xECM for SAP SuccessFactors platform. Working closely with Platform Product Delivery Manager you will build secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions while ensuring high platform availability and operational excellence.

This means that you will:

• Configure and implement OpenText xECM for SAP SuccessFactors solutions.
• Design and configure Business Workspaces, workspace hierarchies, document types, metadata, security models, and business rules.
• Develop and maintain WebReports, LiveReports, workflows, event scripts, and automation solutions.
• Configure and develop custom Content Server user interfaces, Smart View extensions, perspectives, forms, and widgets.
• Develop and maintain integrations between OpenText xECM, SAP SuccessFactors, PowerDocs, DocuSign, and other enterprise applications.
• Develop and consume REST APIs and troubleshoot enterprise integrations.
• Support platform upgrades, deployments, migrations, and implementation activities.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues while maintaining platform stability.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Specialists, Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver business requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize platform performance, scalability, and automation.

You will work within the Group Function Digital Area, supporting People & Culture platforms across IKEA’s global organization. Our engineering team is responsible for delivering and supporting OpenText xECM for SAP SuccessFactors, enabling secure, compliant, and efficient document management throughout the employee lifecycle. We collaborate closely with Product Owners, Product Specialists, Enterprise Architects, Security, Service Delivery, SAP teams, and external technology partners to continuously improve our platform.

Are you passionate about Enterprise Content Management, solution engineering, and building scalable digital platforms? Do you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, developing enterprise solutions, and enabling HR digital transformation through technology?, * Strong hands-on experience with OpenText xECM for SAP SuccessFactors, including configuration, implementation, and platform administration.

• Strong experience configuring Business Workspaces, workspace hierarchies, document types, categories, metadata, security models, permissions, and business rules within OpenText Content Server.
• Extensive experience developing OpenText WebReports, LiveReports, Content Server Workflows, Event Scripts, and workflow automation.
• Experience developing and configuring custom user interfaces within OpenText Content Server, including Smart View customizations, perspectives, widgets, forms, and UI extensions.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, enterprise integrations, authentication mechanisms, and OpenText Content Server APIs.
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, cloud integrations, APIs, and enterprise application connectivity.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex application and integration issues.
• Hands-on experience in at least one end-to-end implementation or major rollout of OpenText xECM for SAP SuccessFactors.
• Knowledge of OpenText PowerDocs, document generation, template development, and document automation will be considered an advantage.
