Job description

We’re looking for a React Developer to help build and maintain modern, responsive web applications. This is an opportunity to work on user-facing products end to end from component design through to deployment in a collaborative engineering team., * Build and maintain web application interfaces using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Translate designs and wireframes into clean, reusable, accessible components.
  • Integrate front-end code with REST APIs and back-end services.
  • Write maintainable, well-tested code and take part in code reviews.
  • Work closely with designers, back-end developers, and product stakeholders to deliver features.
  • Help diagnose and fix bugs, and contribute to improving performance and reliability.
  • Keep up with the latest features and suggest improvements to tooling and practices.

Requirements

  • Solid commercial or substantial project experience with React
  • Strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS fundamentals.
  • PostgreSQL or other open-source databases
  • AI
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.
  • Understanding of consuming REST APIs and handling asynchronous data.
  • Ability to write clear, maintainable code and communicate well within a team.
  • Strong security best practices

Desirable skills

  • Testing frameworks
  • Styling approaches such as Tailwind CSS, styled-components, or CSS Modules.
  • Build tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with a back-end stack and/or cloud platforms - AWS & OCI
  • An eye for UI/UX and accessibility (WCAG).
  • Mentoring or coaching junior developers
