  • Design and implement event-driven and queue-based workflows using Temporal as the workflow orchestration engine.
  • Own features end-to-end: design, build, test, deploy, and support in production.
  • Ship daily using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code / Codex) as a core part of your engineering workflow.
  • Partner closely with the Head of Engineering on architecture decisions and code reviews.

  • Demonstrated ability to own features end-to-end, from design to production support.
  • Familiarity with AI-native development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar coding assistants - used daily.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production monitoring / on-call readiness.
  • Clear, async-friendly communicator, comfortable working across a distributed international team.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with NestJS or another structured Node.js framework.
  • AWS experience: RDS, ECS/EKS, Terraform (IaC).
  • Experience building or operating LLM/agent systems in production (prompt engineering, agent orchestration, evals).
  • Background in insurance, fintech, or another regulated/compliance-heavy vertical., * Backend: TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS (monorepo)
  • Orchestration: Temporal (Temporal Cloud)
  • Data: PostgreSQL on AWS RDS (multi-tenant, row-level security)
  • Infrastructure: AWS, Terraform IaC
  • AI: Anthropic + OpenAI models, prompt/agent orchestration, evals
  • Frontend: React / Next.js
  • Observability & Auth: Datadog, Clerk
