Job description

We are seeking an IT Specialist to own key aspects of the day-to-day hardware, software, and technology services that keep ACG running. This role serves as the hands-on technical resource employees rely on for end-user support, mobile device management, hardware deployment, and coordination with our Managed Service Provider (MSP).

This position works closely with our outsourced MSP, which manages security monitoring, infrastructure administration, and system maintenance, as well as our remote account provisioning team that supports SaaS applications and carrier coordination. As our internal IT resource, you will own execution, drive continuous improvement, and help ensure technology supports our growing business.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Atlanta headquarters. While remote work flexibility is available, we are seeking someone who enjoys working in a collaborative office environment and maintaining a regular on-site presence., Mobile Fleet Management

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of company-issued iPhones, including deployment,

replacements, repairs, and retirement.

  • Administer Apple Business Manager, Jamf Now, and Apple Volume Purchasing.
  • Coordinate warranty claims, repairs, carrier services, and inventory management.
  • Maintain the company’s iPhone Lifecycle Ledger and device inventory.

Endpoint & End User Support:

  • Coordinate laptop deployment for Windows and Mac devices.
  • Procure, install, and support monitors, docking stations, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
  • Provide deskside and help desk support for office employees and troubleshoot day-to-day technology issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized hardware inventory and spare device pool.

Network & Infrastructure Support:

  • Perform first-level troubleshooting for firewalls, switches, wireless access points, internet connectivity, and network hardware.
  • Coordinate with internet service providers, vendors, and the Managed Service Provider to resolve technical issues.
  • Serve as ACG’s on-site technical resource for projects requiring hands-on support.

Systems Administration & Projects:

  • Support administration of Google Workspace, 1Password, multi-factor authentication, and other business applications.
  • Coordinate user onboarding and offboarding with internal teams and external providers.
  • Assist with technology initiatives, including Microsoft 365 migration, single sign-on implementation, and automation projects.
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation, standard operating procedures, and asset records.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on IT support, endpoint administration, or Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience.
  • Experience administering Apple devices through a Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform, with Jamf

preferred.

  • Experience with Apple Business Manager, Google Workspace, Windows endpoint support, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Working knowledge of small office networking, including firewalls, managed switches, and wireless access points.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to document processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Based in the Atlanta metro area with the ability to maintain a regular on-site presence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred (not required).
  • Jamf certification or Apple Certified IT Professional / Apple Certified Support Professional.
  • Experience supporting a Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migration.
  • Experience with Entra ID, Okta, or other single sign-on platforms.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with WatchGuard firewalls and Ubiquiti UniFi networking equipment.
  • Previous experience supporting a field service, construction, or skilled trades organization.
