  • Support and modernize ASP.NET UI applications, including WebForms and MVC-based systems.
  • Design, develop, and support REST APIs and application services.
  • Work extensively with SQL Server, including writing queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and performance-tuning database interactions.

Requirements

  • Strong production experience with .NET Framework, ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, WebForms, MVC, and .NET-based APIs.
  • Experience building, maintaining, and enhancing ASP.NET UI applications.
  • High proficiency with SQL Server, including complex queries, stored procedures, database design, and performance optimization.
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture across UI, business logic, API, and database layers.
  • Ability to work with both legacy codebases and modern application patterns.
  • Working knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ASP.NET UI patterns.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills across UI, application, API, and database layers.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of application features, enhancements, and production issues.
  • Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar tools as part of a professional development workflow, with the ability to review, validate, and refine AI-generated suggestions.
  • Should provide examples of shipped projects, production systems, or relevant full-stack .NET application work.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
  • Experience with Entity Framework, ADO.NET, LINQ, or similar data access patterns.
  • Experience with authentication, authorization, and application security.
