Our Service Transition team plays a critical role in Lifepoint’s continued growth, leading the operational transition of newly acquired and de novo hospitals into our enterprise shared services environment. You’ll partner with leaders across Finance, Technology, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and Operations while gaining exceptional visibility with executive leadership and helping shape the future of healthcare operations. How you’ll contribute
A Transformation Director who excels in this role:
- Lead the operational transition of newly acquired and de novo hospitals into Lifepoint Business Services, ensuring seamless implementation across Finance, Human Capital Management (HCM), Supply Chain, Technology, Medical Staff Services, and other shared service functions.
- Serve as the primary business owner for transition activities, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure hospitals are fully operational and ready to serve patients on schedule.
- Develop and manage comprehensive transition plans, timelines, milestones, and implementation activities while driving accountability across multiple workstreams.
- Partner with operational leaders, division leadership, and executive stakeholders to proactively identify risks, remove barriers, and resolve issues that could impact project timelines.
- Facilitate enterprise-wide communication throughout transition projects, providing regular status updates and ensuring alignment among internal and external stakeholders.
- Support post-acquisition integration activities, including operational planning, onboarding, training coordination, and implementation of shared service functions.
- Lead system implementation efforts from an operational perspective, ensuring successful ERP and shared services readiness while partnering with functional subject matter experts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across departments to foster collaboration, influence decision-making, and drive successful outcomes without direct authority.
- Identify opportunities to optimize transition processes, improve operational playbooks, and implement best practices that increase efficiency and scalability.
- Partner with vendor organizations and internal teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Support organizational growth initiatives, including acquisitions, de novo hospital openings, and other strategic operational transitions.
Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Healthcare Administration, Business, Operations Management, or a related field. Additional qualifications include, * Seven (7) or more years of progressive experience leading operational initiatives, enterprise implementations, project management, or healthcare operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Healthcare industry experience is required., * Experience supporting hospital acquisitions, de novo hospital openings, or large-scale organizational transitions.
- Experience leading ERP or enterprise system implementations (Oracle, Workday, SAP, Lawson, Infor, or similar platforms).
- Experience working with shared services organizations or enterprise healthcare operations.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership and presenting project updates to senior stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating multiple operational workstreams simultaneously.

- Strong operational leadership mindset with the ability to identify issues, solve problems, and drive initiatives to completion.
- Exceptional relationship-building and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with confidence interacting with executives, operational leaders, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong project planning, organization, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to remain calm and solution-focused while navigating changing priorities and tight implementation timelines.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Working knowledge of healthcare operations, shared services, and enterprise business processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and project tracking tools., You must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
