IT Project Manager

• The core duties include project oversight, planning, project tracking, scope management, change control management, risk management, and quality assurance of the project team.
• Adept at the development of schedule, cost, and risk management strategies.
• Direct the activities of resources in line with the business objectives of the project.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of critical path products and services.
• Establish and maintain quality metrics and guidelines.
• Must demonstrate and excel in communicating and working with a diverse team, using collaboration tools competently in a remote work environment. Must be able to work off-hours at different phases of the project.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (minimum of four tools).

• Needs to be able to come onsite in Huntsville 2 days a week. Can live north of Houston or within decent driving distance.
• 8+ yrs IT
• MS 360 experience
• Experience with Excel
• Experience voice and network projects (VOIP)
• Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Skills:

• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Ability to manage project activities; to establish project goals and objectives; to analyze complex information and develop plans to address identified issues; to identify project risks and gaps; manage multiple work streams; to communicate effectively.
