Job description

  • Develop and/or support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, datasets, and reporting solutions that support Revenue Cycle operations and core functions, including but not limited to the creation and maintenance of DAX measures, calculated fields, and standardized KPIs.
  • Partner with Revenue Cycle stakeholders across all functional areas to understand workflows, reporting needs, and performance objectives. Collaborate with enterprise data and technology teams to translate those business needs into reporting and data requirements, including validation and testing to ensure accurate and reliable data delivery.
  • Support and contribute to the integration, validation, and ongoing maintenance of data from multiple EHR and practice management systems, clearinghouse, and vendor reporting systems. This includes assisting with data mapping, reconciliation, and standardization of data elements and KPI definitions across service lines and reporting platforms.
  • Monitor revenue cycle performance trends and key performance indicators; investigate variances, identify data discrepancies or emerging trends, and provide actionable insights to Revenue Cycle and operational leadership to support performance improvement and decision-making.
  • Use, protect, and disclose patient’s protected health information (PHI) in accordance with Health Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management (HIM), or related field preferred., * Minimum three (3) years of experience in healthcare analytics, Revenue Cycle analytics, or business intelligence

  • Experience developing dashboards and datasets using Power BI, including creation of DAX measures and calculated fields
  • Experience working with Revenue Cycle data, including Accounts Receivable, denials, cash collections, adjustments, and AR aging

Experience validating and reconciling data to ensure accuracy and consistency

Equipment Operated: This role routinely uses standard remote office equipment such as laptop or desktop computer, high-speed internet, headset/microphone, and webcam
