Job description

Job Title: CORE (Connecting Opportunity through Relationships and Engagement) Specialist (Full-Time), The CORE Specialist provides operational support for employer sponsors while assisting with student success initiatives, Academic Resource Center (ARC) operations, and employer communication regarding high-risk students. Working closely with the CORE Manager, this position helps strengthen employer partnerships, support student success, and ensure efficient department operations., Employer Support & Engagement

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned employer sponsors and assists with employer relationship management.
  • Conducts Sponsor Dashboard onboarding, training, and ongoing support.
  • Responds to employer questions regarding courses, policies, student progress, and available resources.
  • Maintains sponsor documentation, CRM records, and positive working relationships.
  • Assists with newsletters, employer communications, conferences, recruiting events, and outreach initiatives.
  • Collects employer feedback and supports employer engagement efforts.

Student Success & ARC Support

  • Assists with Academic Resource Center (ARC) intake, case management, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Reviews and routes student referrals to appropriate ARC personnel.
  • Maintains accurate ARC records and supports student intervention efforts.
  • Monitors reports and notifications identifying sponsored students who may require intervention.
  • Communicates academic, attendance, professionalism, SAP, or other appropriate student performance concerns to employer sponsors in accordance with School policies.
  • Documents employer communications and coordinates intervention efforts with ARC, Education, Clinical, Student Services, and other departments as appropriate.
  • Supports additional ARC and student success initiatives as assigned.

Department Operations

  • Prepares reports, spreadsheets, and communication materials.
  • Assists with departmental projects, process improvements, and operational initiatives.
  • Provides day-to-day operational support to the CORE Manager and assists with departmental functions as needed.
  • Collaborates with Admissions, Education, Clinical, Operations, IT, Student Services, ARC, and other departments to support employer partnerships and student success.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive student and employer information.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Customer service, employer relations, education, healthcare, or administrative experience preferred.

  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

  • First Responder experience preferred but not required.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and CRM systems preferred.

Certification and Licensure

  • No certifications or licenses are required.

  • Collaboration - Works effectively with cross-functional teams to support employer partnerships and student success.
