Job description

  • GIS Management & Development: Lead the programmatic implementation, optimization, and management of ESRI-Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and related spatial databases.
  • Asset Tracking & Infrastructure Mapping: Design and update multi-layered asset management systems for the technical inventory, continuous inspection, and rehabilitation tracking of stormwater and natural resources mitigation assets.
  • Database Programming: Build, script, and maintain database environments to process large volumes of field data and geo-spatial records seamlessly.
  • Technical QA/QC Oversight: Ensure all geospatial deliverables align strictly with public agency compliance matrices, accuracy baselines, and data structural guidelines.

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise (Mandatory): Core, advanced expertise in ESRI-Geographic Information System (GIS) suites alongside a strong background in database programming, environment development, and data administration.
  • Experience Benchmark: Minimum of ten (10) years of active, hands-on experience utilizing GIS specifically for the tracking, data collection, asset inventory, inspection, or remediation of municipal stormwater systems and environmental mitigation infrastructure within the U.S. sector.
  • System Integration: Demonstrated capability in linking relational databases with geospatial platforms to generate technical asset compliance reports., Work Location: Fully Remote (Candidates must have deep familiarity with U.S. infrastructure and spatial asset tracking standards).

  • Flexible schedule, Compensation & Contract Framework:
  • Project-Based Hourly Rate: This position operates on an independent subcontractor (1099) framework. Compensation is paid on a pay-per-hour basis according to project tasks and deliverables. We do not offer a fixed annual salary.
  • Flexible Rate Structure: There is no pre-established minimum or maximum rate. The hourly rate is dynamic and will be negotiated directly per project assignment based on task complexity, project budgets, and individual candidate credentials.
