Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Analyst - III to join our dynamic data team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data models, dashboards, and reports that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical proficiency in data analytics tools, business intelligence platforms, and database management systems. Your expertise will enable the organization to leverage data insights effectively, support business analysis initiatives, and optimize data-driven processes., * Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key performance indicators

  • Design and implement scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure accurate data integration from diverse sources
  • Conduct requirements analysis with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications
  • Perform complex data analysis using R, Python, Excel, and other analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Collaborate on database design and management for SQL Server, Oracle, and other SQL databases to optimize query performance
  • Support the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by participating in planning, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases
  • Create detailed data models and schemas to facilitate efficient data storage and retrieval
  • Develop automated reporting solutions utilizing VBA, Bash (Unix shell), Talend, or similar scripting languages
  • Ensure compliance with best practices in data security, quality assurance, and documentation standards
  • Engage in agile project management practices to deliver timely insights aligned with organizational priorities
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business intelligence capabilities through innovative dashboard development and visualization techniques

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field; advanced degrees preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles with demonstrated technical proficiency
  • Expertise in SQL query management and database design for SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker; experience with dashboard development essential
  • Strong programming skills in R and Python for statistical analysis and automation tasks
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Talend or equivalent for data integration workflows
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile frameworks for project execution
  • Familiarity with business analysis techniques to interpret requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience working with linked data concepts and integrating disparate datasets for comprehensive analysis
  • Ability to analyze large datasets using Excel data analysis features and other analytics software
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle analysis to support scalable analytics solutions
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting insights clearly across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting standards
