Job description
The System Integrator will configure software applications and systems, develop technical documentation, and drive integration efforts across complex environments. You will work directly with government partners and ensure systems are integrated, tested, and maintained to the highest standards of security and performance., * Configure and manage software applications and systems within Department of War (DoW) environments
- Draft technical instructions, system designs, integration plans, integration reports, and test procedures
- Evaluate complex technical activities, assess products, and upgrades; and research current systems technologies
- Apply software configuration management processes to maintain system integrity and traceability
- Execute software, application, and system integration processes and testing activities
- Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal teams, partners, and government officials
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of integration methodologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience configuring software applications and enterprise-level systems.
- Proficiency drafting technical documentation including designs, instructions, integration plans, and test procedures.
- Ability to evaluate complex IT activities, assess product upgrades, and research emerging systems technologies.
- Knowledge of software configuration management processes and best practices.
- Strong understanding of software/application/system integration processes and testing methodologies.
- Interpersonal Skills
- Proven experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with partners and government officials.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment with your colleagues
- An active DoW Secret Security Clearance; ability to obtain and maintain a DoW Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with six (5) years of relevant work experience, or equivalent experience
- An IAT II certification as specified in the DoD 8570 (e.g. Security+)
- Experience with applying DISA STIGs
Pay: $123,000.00 - $165,225.00 per year
