Network Administrator

M. Braun, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Network Administrator to join our IT Department. This person will be responsible for all aspects of network administration. Job functions include, but are not limited to:

• Provide I.T. support for all United States company locations.
• Provide technical support to in-house and remote end users
• Onboarding IT training of new employees
• Daily use of help desk for operations and user support
• Manage technology inventory system (label assets as they arrive, keep inventory system current)
• The installation and maintenance of the company servers, Microsoft /ESXI
• Performing preventive maintenance, monitoring load levels, and data backups.
• Monitor network connectivity and troubleshoot issues with our current internet providers.
• Administration of our Sonicwall firewalls.
• Maintain operating system workstations (Windows 11) and servers (Windows 2016/2022).
• Ensure workstation and server data integrity by evaluating, implementing and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions
• Administration of the ERP financial system (Microsoft Dynamics Nav)
• Administration of the CREO engineering system
• Administration of our MDM platform and all company cell phones, Apple/Android
• Act as a backup for the administration of the Shopify online store platform.
• Phone system (Vodia), key fob & camera DVR administration
• Administration of all printers
• Provide IT security training to new employees and annual renewal training for all current employees
• Enforcement of all security policies
• Documentation of all IT processes/policies
• Responsible for processing department related nonconformance’s when required
• Any other duties required for this position

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Nav a plus, but not required
• This individual should be able to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Travel to North Attleboro, MA as needed (anticipated once or twice a month)
• US Citizenship (due to federal contracts in place, only US Citizens are eligible for consideration), * Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to multi-task and handle time management in a high pressure environment
• Must have strong problem solving skills and possess the ability to resolve common problems
• Must be able to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner with M. Braun employees as well as customers and vendors
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision

Education Requirements

Combination of a college degree in a relevant field of study (associates, bachelors) and/or directly applicable experience (2-3 years required)

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Physical Requirement:Must have fine motor skills; be able to grasp small items; ability to do a repetitive motion; the ability to sit and walk for most of the day; crawling; some light to moderate lifting and carrying

• Visual Requirement:Must be able to visually read documents and a computer screen
• Hearing Requirement:Must be able to hear and speak on the phone and in person to convey information; must be able to identify beeps and noises coming from the server and be able to listen to and understand employee technical concern in order to assist
• Mental Requirement:Comprehension, Organization, Reasoning, Decision Making, Communication, and Mathematics.
