Requirements

  • 5+ years working in a mainframe operations environment providing an operational, service, consultancy or support role
  • Demonstrated strong written and communications skills
  • The ability to use TSO and ISPF
  • JCL skills.
  • Ability to write REXX and Working Knowledge of the System Automation Policy Database (PDB)
  • z/OS Automation Migration Projects

Your experience should include implementing and using following products, with a desire to expand your skills to cover others:

NetView for z/OS; System Automation for z/OS

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:

Knowledge of other Z software, including the system operation, configuration and automation, z/OS system startup and shutdown, SMP/E

Knowledge of the products that compete against the IBM products listed previously.

Knowledge with fully automated system configurations on IBM Z
