Job description

We are looking for a Senior Web-Based Tools Management Engineer to join our Wireless Networks team. As part of team, you will get a chance to work with leading edge technology provided to our customers and manage tool development to help develop and deliver critical content effectively to their commercial networks. Your creative and technological talents are showcased in managing tools and processes that are best in class for both internal and external customers. You will have end-to-end ownership for the web-based tools development from the initial concepts through development, with the final reward being able to see the tool designs actually implemented and used by customers. Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the development and support of all internal and external customer interface tools (TIMS (Technical Information Management System), SW SFTP, Portals on Confluence, etc.)
  • Implement a vision to drive the development of both small (short-term solutions) and large (long-term solutions) web-based tools strategy and goals to make the group more efficient and effective for the customers
  • As a subject matter expert in the latest web-based tools, candidate will be responsible for providing inputs and helping to drive the benchmark requirements for the development and implementation of information content management tools
  • Manage the planning and integration of AI technologies for existing and new web-based tools used by internal and external customers
  • Manage each tool’s underlying standards, security, software, infrastructure, and hardware requirements and implementation to keep the tools compliant and meeting the needs of the customers
  • Manage the development of tooling scripts and their commercialization for automation and efficient operation of customer activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Web-based Development; Advanced degree is preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) eight (8) years of Industry experience within Web Content Management Space
  • Management experience with driving and implementing new web-based development within Information Management and customer engagement tools
  • Experience at translating customer and business requirements into technical requirements, specifications, and tangible product changes
  • Experience with implementing AI and automation to enhance and improve functionality and efficiency for customer interface tools experience
  • Good understanding of the fundamental aspects of basic security on web applications and platforms
  • Experience with technical infrastructure design methodologies and datacenter architectures and automation
  • Experience building a cloud governance plan, setting best cloud practices and procedures
  • Good understanding of Telecom technologies and processes
