Job description

The Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer will support both an established production platform and the organization’s next-generation application. Responsibilities include troubleshooting production issues, improving existing functionality, developing new features, and participating in the ongoing modernization of the platform.

This role requires someone who is equally comfortable working in legacy codebases and modern development environments while maintaining a strong focus on software quality, security, and reliability., * Diagnose and resolve production issues across backend services, frontend applications, databases, and third-party integrations.

  • Debug complex application behavior using logs, APIs, database queries, and transaction data.
  • Maintain and enhance integrations with external systems and data providers.
  • Support authentication, authorization, and account management functionality.
  • Assist with billing-related functionality, subscription management, and usage reconciliation.
  • Perform safe, auditable production data updates and migrations.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy new full-stack features.
  • Build scalable REST APIs and modern user interfaces.
  • Write secure, production-safe database migrations.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to resolve customer-impacting issues.
  • Contribute to the migration from legacy systems to modern cloud-based architecture.
  • Ensure solutions comply with healthcare security and privacy standards.

Requirements

This is a high-impact role for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working across the full stack, and taking ownership of systems that directly affect customers., * 5+ years of professional experience building production applications using Node.js and TypeScript.

  • Strong SQL and database design experience, including production troubleshooting.
  • Experience developing modern web applications using Angular, React, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting production issues and deploying safe fixes.
  • Ability to own features from design through implementation.
  • Experience writing production-safe database migrations.
  • Strong understanding of secure software development practices.
  • Experience with Git and modern CI/CD workflows., * Experience with healthcare software, revenue cycle management (RCM), insurance eligibility, claims processing, or EDI transactions.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA or other regulated healthcare environments.
  • Experience integrating payment or billing systems.
  • AWS or comparable cloud platform experience.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
  • Knowledge of financial transaction systems or ledger-based architectures.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting enterprise platform migrations.
  • Mobile application development experience.
  • Background in behavioral health or healthcare technology.
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments., The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer who enjoys balancing hands-on development with production support. They are comfortable working across legacy and modern applications, take ownership of complex technical challenges, and thrive in environments where reliability, security, and performance are critical.
