Job description

We’re seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and maintain the infrastructure that powers our applications and services. In this fully remote role, you’ll work closely with software engineers, cloud architects, and IT teams to streamline deployments, improve system reliability, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing production environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software testing, deployment, and releases.
  • Monitor application performance, system health, and infrastructure reliability.
  • Manage cloud environments using AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve application scalability, security, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain system documentation, security standards, and disaster recovery procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with Linux administration and cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployment.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with scripting languages including Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with distributed engineering teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, or Splunk.
  • Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and cloud architecture.
  • Experience supporting high-availability production environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes (CKA), Azure DevOps Engineer, or similar certifications are a plus.
