Software Engineer

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable applications utilizing programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, C++, and Ruby on Rails.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between distributed systems.
• Build and maintain microservices architectures leveraging cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS and Azure for optimal scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to plan sprints, conduct code reviews using version control tools such as GitHub, SVN, and Git, and ensure continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines are optimized for efficiency.
• Engage in system design activities focusing on performance, security (RBAC), and scalability to meet evolving business needs.
• Contribute to front-end development efforts using JavaScript frameworks such as React and Express, enhancing user interfaces for web applications.
• Apply software design patterns and best practices to create maintainable, reusable codebases aligned with industry standards.
• Participate in troubleshooting complex issues related to IT infrastructure, databases like MySQL and SQL Server, and cloud services to ensure high availability.
• Document technical specifications, API integrations, system architecture diagrams, and operational procedures for ongoing support.

• Proven software development experience with a strong portfolio of web applications or enterprise systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS or Azure is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript frameworks like React or Express.
• Solid understanding of system design principles for developing scalable microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with RESTful API development, version control systems (GitHub, SVN), CI/CD tools, and automation practices.
• Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL and SQL Server; experience optimizing queries for performance is a plus.
• Experience working within Agile software development methodologies to deliver iterative improvements efficiently.
• Strong grasp of software engineering concepts such as design patterns, scalability strategies, security best practices (RBAC), and application deployment processes.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies in quantum engineering or other emerging fields is advantageous but not required.
