Job description

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Jr Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that power our innovative platforms. You will work closely with senior engineers to implement robust system architectures, develop web applications, and enhance system performance using cutting-edge technologies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your passion for software engineering and problem-solving to make a meaningful impact., * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve web applications using JavaScript frameworks such as React and Express.

  • Assist in designing system architectures for scalable and reliable microservices deployed on cloud infrastructure like AWS and Azure.
  • Write clean, efficient code utilizing programming languages including Python, Java, C#, and C++, following best practices in software design patterns and RESTful API development.
  • Contribute to the implementation of REST APIs, ensuring seamless integration between front-end interfaces and back-end services.
  • Support version control processes using GitHub, SVN, and Git, participating in code reviews and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Help optimize database interactions with SQL databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Engage in Agile software development methodologies, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to deliver high-quality software efficiently.

Requirements

  • Proven software development experience with a strong foundation in web development and application programming.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts including Linux systems, cloud services (AWS or Azure), and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular for front-end development.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design principles, system design for scalable systems, and best practices in software engineering.
  • Experience working within Agile teams using tools such as GitHub, SVN, or similar version control systems.
  • Understanding of database management systems including MySQL or equivalent RDBMS solutions.
  • Exposure to programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or C++ is highly desirable.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and contribute effectively in a collaborative environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
