Job description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, migration, and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Azure-based infrastructure solutions while leading enterprise migration projects from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure.

This role requires hands-on experience with Azure services, infrastructure automation, virtualization, networking, security, and hybrid cloud environments., Azure Infrastructure Management

  • Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure environments
  • Configure and maintain:
  • Virtual Machines
  • Virtual Networks
  • Load Balancers
  • Storage Accounts
  • Azure Backup
  • Azure Site Recovery
  • Azure Firewall
  • Azure Monitor

Cloud Migration & Modernization

  • Lead and support migration of:
  • Servers
  • Applications
  • Databases
  • File systems
  • VMware/Hyper-V workloads
  • Perform cloud readiness assessments and migration planning
  • Execute lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and modernization strategies
  • Support hybrid cloud and multi-cloud integrations

Infrastructure Automation

  • Develop infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using:
  • Terraform
  • ARM Templates
  • Bicep
  • PowerShell
  • Automate provisioning, monitoring, and operational tasks

Networking & Security

  • Configure Azure networking components:
  • VPN Gateway
  • ExpressRoute
  • NSGs
  • DNS
  • Private Endpoints
  • Implement cloud security best practices and governance policies
  • Support identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

Monitoring & Operations

  • Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and connectivity issues
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
  • Maintain operational documentation and runbooks

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with application, security, DevOps, and project teams
  • Participate in architecture discussions and infrastructure planning
  • Provide technical guidance during migration and deployment activities

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

  • 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience
  • Strong experience with enterprise cloud migration projects

  • Experience supporting regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001)

Benefits & conditions

$50 - $60 an hour - Full-time, Contract
