Job description

  • Build and own backend services: Design, develop, and maintain reliable and scalable APIs and services that form the backbone of our platform.
  • Shape high-performance systems: Architect features and applications with a strong focus on performance, low latency, resilience, and long-term scalability.
  • Lead complex integrations: Take ownership of the technical design and integration of third-party systems into our platform, with a clear focus on security, stability, and maintainability.
  • Improve our infrastructure setup: Help evolve our deployment and infrastructure strategies using Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS to keep our systems efficient, reliable, and ready to scale.
  • Drive technical improvements: Identify performance bottlenecks early, solve them proactively, and contribute to key architectural decisions around scalability and system design.
  • Set quality standards: Promote best practices for clean code, testing, and documentation, and help ensure a high engineering standard across the team.

Requirements

  • Strong technical foundation: You have a relevant technical education or equivalent hands-on experience in software engineering.
  • 3+ years of backend experience: You bring solid professional experience in backend software engineering and have a proven track record of building complex systems.
  • Deep expertise in Go: You have strong experience with Go and feel comfortable working on high-performance, distributed systems.
  • Ownership mindset: You take responsibility, think proactively, and are able to drive complex technical topics from idea to implementation.
  • Clear communicator: You communicate clearly, work well across teams, and can explain complex technical topics to different stakeholders in a practical way.

Benefits & conditions

We guarantee a competitive gross-salary between 4,000 € and 6,000 € per month for a full-time position (38,5h) based on your responsibilities, qualifications and experience.
