Job description
Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects with deep experience in distributed microservices, and full stack systems to create solutions that help meet regulatory needs for the company Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment Utilize programming languages like JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services
Must-Have
- Backend
- Java (Spring Boot)
- Python (ETL, data pipelines, scripting)
- REST API design
- Frontend
- React, TypeScript
- Cloud / Infrastructure
- AWS (S3, IAM, RDS, Glue, Lambda, CloudWatch, OpenSearch)
- Terraform or CDK
- Data
- SQL (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
- Snowflake or Delta Lake a plus
- DevOps / Delivery
- Git, CI/CD pipelines
- Agile
Nice-to-Have
- AML / financial crimes domain experience
- Spark / PySpark
- Airflow / workflow orchestration
- PCI / CAT1 data handling
- Kafka / event-driven architecture
Requirements
- Comfortable in regulated environments with security/compliance requirements
- Cross-team collaboration
- Ability to ramp quickly - 8-month fixed window, * Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)
- At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), * Master’s Degree
- 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Spark, Python, Go, or Node.js
- Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity, utilizing capabilities beyond basic code completion
