Job description

  • Develop Novel Algorithms: Contribute to cutting-edge development programs by innovating RF signal processing techniques and creating analytics, visualization, and discovery tools that enable precise geolocation and actionable insights.

  • Ensure Interoperability: Integrate new and legacy software across diverse hardware platforms, ensuring performance and interoperability across various form factors.

  • Drive System Design Decisions: Provide critical input to system design decisions, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse strategies, and the incorporation of COTS and GOTS solutions.

What you will do

  • Build Complex Systems: Develop database parser software, database loading software, and database structures that fit into the overall architecture of the system under development.

  • Lead Development Efforts: Take ownership of database structures and software development, ensuring they align with system architecture and meet project requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience: Five (5) years of experience as a Database Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. (Four years of additional DBE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.)

  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph (required).

  • Technical Expertise:

  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, and Redis.

  • Proficiency in SQL and associated tools (e.g., SQL Developer).

  • Experience developing long- and short-term requirements for database administration and design.

What we’d like you to have

  • Elasticsearch Experience: Familiarity with Elasticsearch and its integration into database systems.
